Upcoming Job Fairs:
May 1, Senior Sprint Career Fair
8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Jaycee Community Building
2180 Airport Road SW
Huntsville, AL 35801
The Senior Sprint Career Fair will create a bridge from high school to the workforce and provide graduates with several career and training opportunities. For many students, the absence of knowledge prevents them from making firm future-based decisions. This fair seeks to raise awareness of careers for graduating seniors across all three school districts in Madison County and aim them toward a fruitful future.
The Huntsville/Madison County Chamber is collaborating with Huntsville City Schools, Madison City Schools, Madison County Schools, the local Alabama Career Center, the Alabama Community College System, and community agencies to provide career opportunities for graduating high school seniors who have not enrolled in a 2-year college or university, nor made firm post-graduation plans.
Private school and homeschool students are also welcome to attend.
Employers who are interested in attending this event MUST be willing to train and hire graduating seniors. This event is free, and we’d love for you to participate. All companies are welcome – Chamber members and non-members. Companies, please register on hsvchamber.org.
This is an event that seeks to engage and interview students on the same day. The Career Fair will last from 8 a.m.–12 p.m., with interview possibilities from 1 p.m.–4 p.m. Employers are highly encouraged to use the morning hours to schedule interviews during the afternoon.
We’ll share more details as plans unfold! Thank you for your interest.
